I missed that thanks Jon, with a 48" chest and 36" waist that has definitely ruled me out then grin2

Being 6' helps, not with a Plus Four though it seems..

I was tempted a while back with that little Fiat Abarth open top but no way could I spend any time cramped up in the available space it offered.. like the MX5 they are built around the Japanese small frame I assume.

Never had a problem with any of my Morgans in that area even with my earlier short door Plus 8.

I had missed this earlier comment. I can confirm from own experience and tested in a new plus four, that the new hood mechanism intrudes too much into the interior to the extend that I have way more shoulder room in my 2009 Roadster than in the new CX platform, that was designed to give more interior space. The continious intusion into upper arm/shoulder is very uncomfortable, this aspect I consider a big design mistake, that needs correction. If not corrected interseted people will walk away.

Has anyone enquired about having a proper door on the glove compartment to replace the cheap netting, or even attempted to make one of their own? An MY2023 upgrade, possibly?
BTW - I'm not a fan of the lockable compartment behind the seats. Daft idea IMHO. If there's room for that then why not have the backboard on the slope, like the pre CX cars, for more squishy-stuff luggage space?

The hood mechanism has been revised recently I believe to correct the arm / shoulder intrusion. One has to ask why this was not corrected during development? 🤔

I have had it confirmed to me today that the hood mechanism has indeed been revised and there is a fix available for existing 22MY cars.
