Plucking up courage to have a go at the dash in the meantime put my hand up behind the dash and found what appears to be a metal box on the far right in the corner - any ideas what this may be?
Also had a quick look underneath behind the dials but can’t easily see any clock wires are they likely to be easily located?
Sorry for being a pain but I’m a novice at this but would like to try!!,

There could be 2 screws slightly off centre. What model is your car?

My clock wiring was attached to the rev counter bracket with a cable tie. I have a 4/4 so it might be different on the plus 4

My 06 Roadster had 4 screws. 2 obvious at the edge near the doors & 2 close to the centre of the dash. They ar high up & you may need to put your finger between the dash leather roll & the dash to feel them.
