That car is a stunner, for sure. It's a pity you will be parting with it so soon.

Hearing your story I feel pretty damn lucky that I have no pressure from my wife to sell either the bikes or the Morgan. It's mainly due to the fact she rides a bike herself and is very much an outdoors type so Morganeering fits the mould quite nicely.
Anyway, Davel...what bike are you looking to replace her with ?....the Morgan, I mean smile

Err I haven't broached the subject yet. Having had 4 GSs to date, maybe a Fatboy this time.

Early days yet.

Anyway, still got a stunning Morgan at the moment!

It's not her fault to be honest.

As a teenager, she was knocked off her bike and left in the road. We've still got teenagers at home and she's worried that I'll be killed on one.

I must admit that I'm reluctant to sell the Morgan but, like the TVR, she just finds them too basic and firm a ride.

I'd hoped to tour etc in it but that's unlikely now.

I know my suggestion means more outlay but is it worth considering changing the suspension over to something adjustable? I know Morgans can ride quite firm, because of the inherent nature of the set up, but adjustable shocks can take a lot of the edge off.

I think the car rides fine thanks and I don't want to make things worse. It's certainly less harsh than the Tuscan was.

Anyway, she won't even sit in it whlst parked up never mind ride in it.

Very sorry to hear that Davel.
Actually, my wife came off her bike earlier this year and it has certainly made her think twice about continuing with her biking hobby. It's one of those things I guess...it's only after a crash that you really see the danger of biking....fortunately for our better halves they are now perhaps wiser than you and I (?).

She won't even get n the bloody thing, so not much point in buggering up the suspension.

The kids love the Morgan though, so we'll see what happens.
