Back from a 400 mile spin around the Cotswolds, not a sniff of sun but at least it was mostly dry

One of the highlights was a long awaited visit to Stowe Gardens

Great place for a proper walk & the Follies are amazing

You can even stay in this one (probably haunted)

320 mile round trip from Witney via Banbury to Southerndown, South Wales. Had a reunion with some old colleagues which meant a night under canvas.

So glad we had typical British summer weather!!

Jon, were you in Old Sodbury on Wednesday, late morning.

I was on my way back from Williams and waved to an unknown Morgan.

Quite fortuitous really otherwise I would still be suffering grief from swmbo. First time I've had wipers on max speed as we approached Thetford. Those little wipers were quite manic and
thankful they didn't enter orbit.

We did enjoy a great picnic lunch in the sun earlier though.

144 mile round trip to a friend in Yorkshire to help out with a Morgan display for their village open garden day in aid of Dementia UK.

Hood up all the way there and all the way back - one of those days when I was pleased to have listened to Mrs F. Drove through some wild downpours.

We were there a few weeks back.
Despite 4 hours walking, still didn't see all of it, so a good excuse to go back when the weather cools a little smile

400 miles barely warms the engine up!
Graham, I have similar photos at Stowe taken on the way to Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago. I’ll dig a couple out.

I've been pretty busy working weekends recently so took a day off last Thursday and had a half day tour around the North East along with my son in his MK2 Escort.
We're off on holiday to the west coast so we're trying out different camera position's and angles.
Here's a short video that he's put together. He's also got a couple of mics and some more mounts on order so we should have better sound and footage on the actual trip.

Hope you enjoy. Feel free to suggest improvements.

Bob, no would have been parked up at Stowe

We are however booked into W's open day on the 31st
