Hi,

Many thanks for your comments. After looking at all the pictures and taking on board everyones comments I've a leaning towards the Rutter wheel. I like the 4 spoke look - its suits the car better than the 3 spoke Simmonds wheel in my opinion. Will need to look at the overall cost though - could be quite an expensive choice but I suppose I will then have the wood wheel to sell complete with boss etc.
Will need to check with Rutters if theirs is a copy of a Bluemel or an original.

Bluemels copy I imagine, the Blumels factory in Wolston near Coventry closed years ago, housing estate there now.

If you have a mota lita why not fit a new leather rimmed wheel either 3 or 4 spoke to the existing boss, by far the cheapest option. Check out the mota lita web site

I'm pretty sure the 4 spoke wheel supplied by Rutters will fit the standard MotoLita boss.
