Gents, my security camera picked up these images of the car in twilight. I knew the dipped lights were limited but I didn't appreciate there was a blaze of light just in front of the car and next to nothing beyond (the spotlights were on which accounts for the beams slightly in front). Is this typical and if not is it easy to adjust?

Any enlightenment on the subject would be appreciated

Seems like a fairly typical Wipac Quadoptic beam pattern. I maintain that Wipac invented the "black hole". Improved headlights along with Peter of this parish's better wiper blades are two must haves on a Morgan. Sticking with bulbs as distinct from LEDs my favourite used to be Cibie H180's but they are no longer available in UK dip pattern. I have changed to Hellas but haven't been out in the dark since fitting them, but anything has to be better than the standard fit Quadoptics!

Thanks for the information Max.
Looks like I need to invest in a change of bulb.

A change of bulb won't alter the beam pattern, it will only make the same pattern brighter. The entire headlight unit needs to be replaced.
