Yes Paul, why risk it on a toy car is how I feel as it would deflect from the enjoyment factor.
Ten minutes to go at 51k reserve nearly met.
His proper non auction add was for 60k.
Ended at 54.5k reserve nearly met. So presumably unsold..
Oh well we'll see where it pops up next ....

£54,500 Reserve was not met. Personally I think the seller set the reserve too high, he should have been happy with that figure given the background.

Agreed, his original advert was for 60k without declaring the Cat D write off he should have taken that last bid and felt damn lucky. Perhaps he'll cancel his "new" Plus Six order

Interesting, the Roadster sold for 39k which was 10 under the original non auction advert without the write off information declared, so I suppose he has learnt something about the Morgan world being a very small one with good lines of communication.
£54,750 I see the Aero8 now so £5,250 less than his original advert, he should think himself lucky imho.

He's been rebuilding cars long enough Oh right Graham, I don't know who it is but advertising these originally without them being declared as subject to Insurance write off's was not impressive and didn't work for him as he had to resort to auctioning them.

Here we go again with the auction site  commencing 6th August. I wondered if the previous bidder was struggling to get insurance cover. 1.75Mtrs garage width seems a bit narrow to me  .

1.75m is wider than a Honda CRV, which only just fits through our garage doorway. Internal garage width is fine though....
