The blue car I put purely as a colour option, I wouldn't touch a press car when the journotypes have had a good go at wrecking it.
I wonder if the press car is a safer bet, if it hasn't fallen to bits after 10k miles of uncaring drivers testing its 0-60 capabilities it must be reasonably well screwed together. I will admit my first thought about the press car was, well they must have found a solution to the radiator problem by now, so you could be right.. I expect the same going across the grass backwards will be able to be said for the MMC experience demo cars

My Roadster was a dealer demo car for a year, and as an early S1 would have had a lot of different drivers. It survived.

My Plus 8 was the 2014 press/demonstration car. Now at 44,500 miles it has been flawless. The price was good, the car better!

I have a sneaking suspicion that the show and press cars get more love and attention heaped upon them during manufacture? I certainly wouldn't rule out buying one.

So the Coupe was the Geneva Motorshow Car, used in the X-Car video, used on various press runs and photo shoots including one with Mrs Morgan.
It was far from perfect when it arrived and spent quite literally 9 of the next 18 months back at the factory time and time again. I think it is safe to say that a demonstrator or press car is going to get some drive-it-like-you-rented-it punishment. However you would expect it to be decently prepared before it was handed over.
I prey the Plus Four/Sixes are given more urgent development than the Aero got over it's time or the cars could end up becoming quite sticky. They definitely appear to deserve better than that.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Probably never happen, but if I was buying a new Mog I'd spec anything I wanted that wouldn't be a straightforward fit later on. Part of the pleasure is adding your own touches as and when you feel the need I think. from what I have seen of Morgan ownership, that makes a lot of sense.

But one thing I would definitely go for if I ever went for a plus four would be two tone paint work. IMO it really suits Morgan design.

Many cosmetic changes can be made later at a fraction of the factory option cost and in the case of powder coating probably better quality.

My Speedster was also a press car and used in the X Car video “Looks Retro-Sounds Like Thunder” and a few other photo shoots. The only real thing I noticed was the leather on the driver’s seat bolster is a bit worn- otherwise I think it was quite well sorted.
It has all the usual electrical “ enhancements “, however!!
