Glad you liked the pic Richard, I`m guessing you know full well the location... John that sounds like an interesting series of events. Once while rounding the Mull of Kintyre I heard a military broadcast giving lat and long of an underwater device which they were about to explode and giving a radius of a temporary exclusion Z. I notified them of my position and we hauled to and waited as we were on the edge of the zone and it was directly in our intended course home.... The explosion obviously hit the keel but was just as if someone had slapped it, then we carried on our merry way. I managed a few hours out with the old Morgan on yet another blue sky day...! Headed over to a hotel in a local valley hope to post a pic below heading down the hill into the valley. On heading into the hotel before the appointed meeting time, I noted there were a few who like me were ahead of the game, and just the beginnings of a large variety of interesting vehicles and people that trickled in as time passed, the car park was even becoming busy enough to have the occasional Traffic jam. While one make car clubs are a wonderful resource of knowledge on the marque, a line up of one mark does not excite quite like a wide variety of machinery..Hmm..? I always admitted to being a bit of a CARsonova... As for the width of the variety of machinery present, Ford seemed to have representatives of autoculture from both ends of the spectrum relating to "Classic" machinery...? All in all, a wonderful few hours of escapism.. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/Cuilt-Brae.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/Eclectic-collection.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/Classic-Car-jam.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/Model-T.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/Modernised-model-T.jpg)

Two very hot days driving to a pub to overnight near Newbury , then with Swan Mog a horse drawn canal ride on the Kennet & Avon and back home. Nearly 400 miles of fun. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/20210720_101418.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/20/20210720_103217.jpg)

In Mini not Mog as taking Val's sister for pub lunch, but spotted this presumably 2002/3 4/4. It was at the Chequers pub car park in the remote mid Norfolk village of Thompson. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/iymj6IH.jpg) Tried but failed to find owner unless it was the landlord. Anyone wiser?

It's picked up some decent patina in it's relatively (by Morgan standards) short life .... owned by a driver rather than a polisher by the look of it.

some of the GEG met with the Jag owners near Eye today. Hawki & I can tell you the roads were full of the 35mph whatever the limit folk and in my case a slow moving pig lorry down a country lane for 15 miles. But the meet up was worth the effort. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/21/20210721_120043.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/21/20210721_132112.jpg)
