I find you can get quite a bit of storage for all that stuff under the raised front seats, no one thinks of looking under there!!!

I found a nice part for storage during my trips on amazon ... suprisingly the leather color fit´s perfect to my original leather seats from Morgan:

https://www.amazon.de/Speyang-Aufbewahrungsbox-Mittelkonsole-Multifunktionale-Autositzl%C3%BCcken-Organizer/dp/B08L3JW7D4/ref=asc_df_B08L3JW7D4/?tag=googshopde-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=474063661423&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3904725038217770379&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1000997&hvtargid=pla-1014050575196&psc=1&th=1&psc=1

You can only use that one on the passenger side ... on the driver side it´s to big! And the best thing - a beer can be stored there!

Nothing too sophisticated, just a bottom, two sides and a back. The bottom is fixed to the steering column mount and the sides and back added in situ, if made it up first it was too big to get in position. Immobiliser moved below box and bolted to bulkhead.
Looks ok from the inside as that's the only bit you see😆

My glovebox, similar to Obies but made from Plasticard 1mm. I also used the spare steering column mount for the base and made it in parts to be assembled in situ, to get the maximum size in the space. It is handy to stow things like sat nav and sunglasses out of sight. I used the old leather pads as a softer backing for the stainless steel panels and the cover just pivots on one of the mounting screws with a thumb screw to fix it in place.

That’s what I was thinking, would be a job to polish it due to the brushed/milled finish on the surface.

I did more or less the same design as you on the steering wheel - I finished it with a simple laser engraved stainless steel plate in the middle:

...I think sooner or later I will buy an "unsymetric" steering wheel to have a better look onto the tachomenter / rev counter!

Here another idea and good place to store something easy accesable. The former owner of my M3W had the crazy idea to build in a radio and therefore he made a slot ... I bought a cheap plastic box with DIN radio dimensions and built it in there:
