How much is the Speedster up for? They didn't say just call them was the message... Something rather special for today …… 2015 Morgan Plus 8 Speedster 4.8. No.30 of 60 produced and finished in Ferrari Fly Yellow Pearl with Admiralty Blue quilted leather. Absolutely spectacular. Call our Morgan specialist for full details on 01606 41481 Just posted on FB in reply to a query...5200 miles and £91950 TomThat is not as high as I would have thought tbh.. I was thinking North of 100k.. The standard Aero Plus8 runs out at £75,000 today (two on the market today), Peter's valuation is higher I imagine as he has had a considerable amount of work done to her over the years with Henry, reading his previous postings on here will confirm. When this 50th Anniversary LHD is at £140,000.. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/21/50t.jpg)

Love the final edition Plus 8. Desperately wanted one but timing was wrong.

Love the final edition Plus 8. Desperately wanted one but timing was wrong. The same for me, completely wrong timing. Still not won the lottery.

Richard,
the valuation is based on what I'd have to pat to buy a replacement with the same level of trim and accessories, so £5k above the price in the market is reasonable.
Mine is a well documented factory car fitted with every accessory on offer at the time, including AeroMax wheels, it was the first Aero of any description with paddle shift for the auto box. I've upgraded the audio system to DAB, fitted MMC specification LED headlights, an Aero Racing roll bar and SSL suspension.
I really hope I never have to claim, but as John found out when WVM hit is roadster, there are idiots about!

Peter,
Yes I was factoring in some of the work you have documented on here as well although I hadn't appreciated the car had come "loaded" to you from MMC, I should have guessed really. Yours is certainly the only Otter coloured one too and I think colour makes a lot of difference to the marketability.
Yes we just have to hope, I suffered from a 4x4 Audi idiot when he wrote my Sport off, they are indeed out there at large.

I've been having similar conversations regarding some of my cars as the insurance is due on them all this week and current insurers wanted trackers on 3 of them and a level 2 immobiliser on the 1961 Flaminia.
The Lancia was the easiest to get a current valuation at what I feel is a reasonable level as pretty much every one on the market or recently sold were pitched about £30k above the value I have on mine. The Vanquish more difficult as values softened a bit last year. However the cheaper ones really are potential money pits. Probably not possible to get one in the condition mine is so the specialists valued it right at the highest level for a Vanquish.
The GTN is always the awkward one. Highly unlikely to be replaceable unless one of the other owners could be convinced to sell. I suppose you could get a good Series 1 and try and locate a 4.6 engine and do a homage but that will still end up expensive. Anyway, here's hoping the insurance is always a waste of money!
The good news though is I have all 5 sorted, business use on all of them so never an issue as to which car I might jump in and what I'm doing, without the need for any additional security over that factory installed when new, agreed values where relevant and a decent premium.
Aero 8 GTN. #10

I was previously with a company that wanted a cream cracker on everything over 60k, surprised they didn’t ask for one in my wheelbarrow tbh.
Really annoys with with the annual subs etc.
Now moved companies, saved 10k on premium plus they only require one on 2 cars not 6

Nice of them to get the description wrong!
Its a Supersports not an AeroMax which was the 100th year model?
Lets see if it shifts at that price then given the other two pricy models are still sitting gathering dust sadly.
