Following the wear of my original engine (+ 100,000km) I wanted to reassemble my engine with an almost new mix of parts from a second TW engine I noticed that my TW had a 121cub with stroke 4.25 "bore 4.25 "while the second engine of TW has stroke 4.375" bore 4.125 "for 117cub is 1.831 liter and 1.916 liter, so I am looking for 121 pistons or 117 cylinders to reassemble my engine, apparently the desert is now for x-wedge parts at S&S it even seems that s & s no longer provided the timing belt, that would not make me want to buy a used one except to serve statically in a museum, for the piston it is not possible to look elsewhere to adapt another car with x-wedge cylinder head because the valve imprint is perpendicular to the piston pin. frown

Engine not at the top, vehicle not at the top, spare parts really not great, the three wheels of success.

The success of the piston is due to the ECU mapping.

Cannot help with the Pistons and Barrels, other than to say that Morgan at Malvern have seemingly bought a large stock of S&S parts recently, so may have some in stock?

A 117 cu in displacement works out at 1917cc and 121 cu in is 1983cc according to my information.

The pistons should not be a problem in the USA as there are firms like JE pistons who I'm sure would make some. It might be a problem in that you only need two but I'm sure there is a way around that as I know they will make sets of four.
Cheers
John
