Hello,
New members, we have just bought a 1985 4/4 Fiat engine 4-seater.
Currently going through the little used car with a fine toothcomb before putting into regular service, (today we replaced the original 36 year old tyres!).
Jill enjoys touring in the Pembleton but admired Morgans for features such as doors, windscreen & hood - are we the only couple to buy a Morgan for the luxuries?
Jill will use the 4/4 as her everyday car, says this is only viable as she has me to look after it...

Welcome to TM.
The Yorkshire Centre of the Morgan Sports Car Club is very active - I suspect a few members will be along in a while.

Welcome from Belgium. Nice to see that you want to use it as a daily drive.
That gives it an extra dimension.
Lots of fun. drive

Welcome to you both from Aberdeenshire. I'm sure you have some great drives ahead in your "new" Morgan.

Using a Morgan as a daily driver will soon sort out all the issues. Just shout if you need friendly advice , there are no stupid questions here , but many a stupid mistake by not asking them.

My third Morgan (a 1955 +4) was a stripped out racer , with a competition engine , heavy clutch, heavy brakes and an an heavier Moss gearbox. We bought our current +8 because to seemed so luxurious compared to the +4, so I can appreciate your viewpoint.

That Fiat engine is generally well thought of, and pretty bomb-proof, a lovely piece of engineering.

Enjoy driving all your cars.

Welcome from northern Germany!

As long time owner of bike and bikes with sidecar we decided to buy our 4/4 because of features such as doors, windscreen & hood woohoo thumbs
