That looks like a grand day out John and no sign of Jones the butcher.
His truck was often seen parked at the Bell Hotel Thetford when I was courting Heather and the crew were staying there.
There was lots of memorabilia in the bar at the time.

We were there a month ago looking into volunteering- if we can move closer to BSE…Her Ladyship has just said the GEG is another key reason she wants us to move (for me to join in). Ain’t I the luckiest guy in the world!!!!

Another GEG run out this time to Bressingham on a steam day. I particularly liked the 1894 steam engine suspension. I'll get there one day! Joined 3 Morgan owners to visit the Great British Car Journey yesterday. Came out of the museum just as a thunderstorm rolled in, lightning strikes very close by. Watching 3 Morgan owners getting drenched as they erected hoods, from my cabriolet reminded me why I took the 9-3 (raining when I left home anyway).

Lovely photos Alan. I dodged the rain most of yesterday & didn't get wet. 30 mins after getting home there was a biblical shower.

10 mile blast up the A11 to warm up before Morton's first MOT at our local centre. Youngish chap was bemused by fly off handbrake and my home made bonnet stays, but soon got the hang of them and it sailed through. Didn't bat an eyelid to full LED light conversion and dip headlamp setting fine. Amused as he searched for tail pipes to stuff the gas sensor but quickly found the side pipes - one seemed to suffice. LSD meant rear brake test had to be performed on the road with decelerometer, or was that just an excuse
