I highly doubt that either of them would meet any type of noise db limits. With short straight pipes, probably quite loud... smile

Oh but what a joyous roar!

Can you imagine the header guys scratching their heads to make it all work with a muffler system?

The one that Jay Leno is on sure looks and sounds correct.

The light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train. 2019 M3W

No- because I think you can see a water cooling radiator just above the right front spring. Inside the CX aluminium chassis. I think the air cooled days are over. Referring to the BMW motorcycle comments by 3G.

Taking the Autocar prototype picture of the "3/3", can we surmise the following. An aluminium CX chassis with enclosed water cooled engine and a contemporary Morgan nose. All wheel disc brakes, wider wheels and hopefully unequal length wishbone front suspension. Engine- the Ford Fox 1.0 ecoboost would be a good guess because of size and weight. This engine comes as an atmospheric- non turbo version with 65 or 80 hp. The 80 would be a logical choice for this application. The turbo version weighs 213 lbs so the non turbo version should come in under 200 lbs. I could not find a longitudinal application of this engine so the transmission choice is unknown ,perhaps the MX-5 again. Do we want a proper windscreen? Do we want open Harley Davidson type aluminium front wheels? Do we want an exposed rear wheel?
This forum may be our only voice to be heard by the planners at Morgan.

"We see this as a truly global product. Our big focus will be on building US sales..."

Hey, Mr. Morris. How about responding to current US customer emails asking a few simple questions about the $80k car they just bought. That might help the impression that US buyers have...

Just a crazy idea, I know.
