Graham: I remember that evening over at Lasham when my son was learning to glide. Must be some time ago now. I'll try and remember to take a tape measure on Sunday when I get the car out for a trip to Goodwood.
Paul: your former car looks identical to mine - thanks for posting the picture. I envy that hood, mine has never looked quite the same since it was targetted by a family of mice!
Thanks, everyone for the kind comments. We've had "Ada" now for 14 years and I can't imagine ever parting with her. It's a shame I've had to put her into storage for now while I work on the Austin 7, but she'll still come out regularly.

Yes. I find some trivial excuse to drive it most days. Today I went to the fishmonger, the Co-Op, the butcher and took the long way home. Spotted a dark green Trad in Cobham along the way. Where could this be? Tuscany, the Languedoc, Champagne - well I've given the game away a bit already - just down the road at Denbhies Vineyard in Dorking ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/08/14/73269777-23A8-44E8-9072-F132E72EA40E.jpg) What a difference a tonneau makes to the Trad experience, helps the roof to be quiet, calms down the cabin area and makes my 4 seater look neat and tidy at the back. I may be tempted by a separate hood cover that allows easier access to the rear seats

Hannes, my head & stomach remember sturm from the Wienerwald. A sort of wine based scrumpy that comes in pint mugs & sorts you out for days. That think is ready in the autumn.

I may be tempted by a separate hood cover that allows easier access to the rear seats I had a tonneau cover made that had a side to side zip for the cockpit cover element. It gives us a hood and luggage cover that can easily be accessed by releasing a couple of poppers. Then when we park, I just zip in the missing bit. Not sure if this concept would work on a 4 seater though.

You should stay away from "Sturm". It's dangerous when the grape juice is in full fermentation process. Causes rumble in head and guts. But now you know...

Took mine to Rhos on Sea for ‘Classics on the Prom’. Chatted to a very nice couple from the Wirral with a plus four. Didn’t get their names though but lovely folk.
