Graham the boat is a Cornish Skiff they have a club up north where Bob is.

Bob has Phase Two done, the chassis has been welded where necessary on the higher level dolly and so she it getting back to ground level on the smaller one, great progress.

Bob's back on the case and this is his home made ash frame and first handmade panel he has fitted, he is a very talented carpenter with many skill sets on show here





Here he is starting to make a mould to help get the back panel for both sides to hold it in place so he can get it right.





And the next panel he has made ready to go on..

I am surprised that he did not remove all the components from the frame.

I think he has just about Jens, he certainly will before construction he is fabricating and checking panel fit at the moment off chassis whilst the V8 is away being rebuilt.

Great work especially given the starting material

The scuttle especially helps to stabilise the frame while you're messing with it Jens .... I had stabilising bracing on mine and tried never to have more panels off at any one time than I had to .... horrid tricksy material, wood !! 🙂

Great to see this car back on it's road to recovery.

I'm a little concerned that is a single piece?
Bear in mind with chassis flex the frame will also twist slightly.
