Oz, I have no idea whether my observations and the imagined effect might pan out as I expect. I kinda hope to be proven wrong given I have just splashed out on an ICE driven sports car..! I visited two open air car park club gatherings of late, one for the classic car brigade and the other Porsche related, both were 99% attended by baby boomers. I often watch the TV Show "Bangers & Cash" where the recurring theme would seem to be built around mature individuals who`s pension pot may be dwindling somewhat and decided to cash in their "Classic," or indeed it may be the widow clearing out the garage of the dear departed and the auctioneers are there picking up the machine to transport it to their premises for the next auction, where again the majority of bidders seem to fall into the baby boomer category..?
