Lovely pictures that first one looks just like a place in Jersey the name of which escapes me but they have a wonderful seafood restaurant there and a biggish breakwater, no surprise there really..

It's kinda fun driving at the island speed of 20-40mph, with lots of 2nd gear corners, and hard stone walls to bounce the exhaust sound off.

Crossed 16,000 miles on the way home, a cracking brisk late night/early morning run along the south cost, Poole - Hove.

We met up with the MSCC group and in places drove somewhat faster. I enquired of one of the owners why they ignored the speed limits.
I was told that one of the members was connected to the Police and had ensured there would be no speed checks.
Believe it, or not, but I have a feeling that in Jersey who you know and who you are is important.

Another Plus 8 day, the next couple of weeks lok about perfect.
Tarka is out of the garage and is my daily drive for now. I shall have to wash the car and put fuel in the tank.

I was checking the MOT Certificate to see when I need to book a service and MOT and was horrified to see that since November 2020 I have driven just 1500 miles.
That verges on neglect.

I think I'll have to give up working for a living so I'll have the time to drive more - working from home isn't conducive to being able to get the Aero out anywhere near as much as I'd like to!

I'm not sure if that would work: I retired and still don't have enough time. Very strange.

Off to Salon Prive tomorrow for Ladies Day and I'll be helping Lockton out on their stand on Saturday and Sunday.

Salon Prive was excellent and I was fortunate enough to form part of the judging panel for the Salon Prive Club Trophy where my choice was the ultra-rare Morgan SLR500 (only three ever made) although this was nudged in to second by a lovely vintage Rolls Royce. I have posted a couple pop photos of the SLR500 on the Classic Morgans page. I'm now looking forward to the Edenbridge Motor Shown this coming Sunday where the Aero will be part of the stand taken by the Kent Region - HopMog.
