Do anyone know if there is much chance of additional damage (for example damaged crank) when the Central drive rubbers finally give out. I read somewhere that someone ended up with a twisted crank but I can't find the post and wasn't sure if it was the earlier compensator that caused it. Any info gratefully received  Dave

Just a supposition but if they don't fail equally then pressure will be exerted not evenly on the crank would be my thought.

No damage to the crank splines usually when Centa rollers fail. The crank damage sometimes occurs when the old Harley Davidson based spring compensator fails.
