Being a tribute to TOK it has to be good thumbs

If I didn't have a well sorted Plus 8 that I love I would have been tempted with this one and put in a cheeky offer.

Apart from the rather nice hard top, how does this differ from a standard run-of-the-mill BRG +8 to justify a £20k premium?

Stylish: As are all trads

Limited Edition: Not sure, Morgan are one of the most customisable and bespoke cars in the world. Yet LEs offer dozens of identical cars in a specification chosen by someone else?

Aston: ?

It's 12/40 so a limited edition in my book - I think you would struggle to replicate one of these but I'm sure you could profit by doing so should you chose to..

Aston in Durham consistently show the highest prices for any Morgan that I happen to have noticed them offering.

As in all things you only see the magic if you want too.. to some Morgan's are just a car but my cup is always half full even if it's expensive..

You can get a "normal" 2003 +8 with 7500 Miles on the clock for 39950 Pounds?

In this add they want 57455 Pounds thats neary the same as the LeMans...

Ah, got you on Aston.

I will readily admit that I don't get LEs when they are primarily trim differences. in this case it is one of 40 identical cars whereas it is possible to specify a Morgan as being 1 of 1 - a true Limited Edition. Of course YMMV - and the world is better for that.

LEs such as the P4SS and the Baby Doll are a different story

I understand your reasoning on the LE's.

Now I don't like the four cylinder cars out of preference even the specials that you mention, they just don't do it for me at all especially when they are plastered with stickers which I hate with a vengeance, they just scream boy racer, I prefer the understated look sans badges, spotlights et al. .

Tried one for 24,000 miles and my heart wasn't in it.

I don't like revvy engines and far prefer effortless torque and the best soundtrack, as ever it's horses for courses.
God Bless the dear old US of A for the V8 clap

I bought my car 7 years ago sight unseen, the car was 15 years old had only covered 8000 miles. After taking delivery the only item that needed replacing was the battery, maybe I was the lucky one or perhaps the two previous owners took exceptional care. Either way if you like what you see go for it!

Yes Dave, it never bothers me the low mileage car thing tbh, my present car had only covered 19,000 in the 15 years before I bought it and the rear cylinders were the only thing that needed attention, so I renewed them and all pads and shoes at the same time, it's all straightforward stuff just a bit of time that's all.

The previous owner was in the music industry in London village and kept it in his Mews house and took it to the factory for a black underseal check and touch up every year, it is immaculate underneath and patinated throughout as I believe in using them all year round not polishing too much, once a year is more than adequate.

She has 36,000 on the clock now but the last two years have not been conducive to travel and banned for tracts of time by Doris Johnson our very own mini Trump.
Still not a spot of rust under there either.

So when you buy it's all a balancing act really isn't it and as I said if I didn't have a great well sorted car already I would have made an offer for this one.
