Maybe tie it it in with a trip to the Reno Air Races before they ban them.

I'd recommend NZ they have some fabulous roads, spectacular scenery, welcoming people, good food and drink and great V8 cars.........

I'll bear that in mind, I have an old college friend in Auckland that's often encouraging us to go out and stay so who knows if the fuel situation gets bad here maybe we will go.
One of our neighbours lads lives in Auckland too, all the kids in our close grew up together so we know him well.

The brother of a friend shipped his Ferrari out and back to NZ just to compete in a classic race and to enjoy the roads

We have family down there, spent 5 touring holidays of just over months duration each time, Xmas time is surreal, summer sun and BBQ's make the most of it all etc. Has to be done, should be on most people's bucket list, with a contrast stay in OZ. When I was last in NZ, because so many people travel over Xmas the fuel companies used to reduce the petrol prices to help out!

I would love to ship my Morgan down there, the South Island has some absolutely deserted scenic roads. One trip we came across an English registered road scanning and charting lorry with 2 guys from Bristol, they had the contract to map all of NZ roads...what a job!

Forwards! Just replaced one of the front calipers because it was stuck. They couldn't remove one of the bolts so I had to get a new one from Chiltern Aston. £34.00!!!. Just been offered £18,000 from Williams in PX for a +8. I don't think I'll change back at that price. I might go to Revolutions for a test drive of a Roadster but it's only 6 pot, hey, ho.

Glad to read it...

I'm not surprised at Henry's offer tbh, who wants a car that only goes forwards smile particularly an Aston..
