My mower loves 98 Octane premium unleaded.
As to the Plus 8, all the bits of the fuel system that MMC sourced from BMW or VDO will be fine. The other bits might need replacing. The only part that concerns me is the long run from tank to engine, and the return. All the rest are easy to get at and replace as the circular cover is easy to remove.

Having to source E10 free petrol will be a challenge going on long journeys, bit like driving an electric car, range anxiety anyone !
Is there an ap to source garages that sell higher octane fuel?

Just a thought, how have they managed in other countries is there any fact based evidence of E10 damage or are we worrying unnecessarily . Most other countries have been through this and some like Brazil run a lot higher ethanol content.

I have just spent £70.30 on Tesco 99 E5 petrol... £1.44 per litre!
I'm certain it isn't going to get cheaper....
