Well if it helps we have a very narrow road with passing places near us. So narrow there is a separate clearly signed cycle lane. Buses fill it completely give or take a foot either side & there is a high kerb so no way to run off into the grass. Passing a cyclist is therefore very risky

As I crawled past a MAMIL & his partner on this stretch of road I asked why they didn't use the far safer cycle path that is clearly indicated . I was told I was a K***b my parents weren't married & that if the road was unsafe I should take more care. I pointed out the cycle path that rejoined at this point & was told sex and travel.

I understand & indeed give space to cyclists , horses & pedestrians, my aim is not kill anyone when driving I have no desire to do that . But why you deliberately ignore the safe sectioned off route for bicycles fails me.

People can be vary odd in their perception of risk
I decided today to avoid this route in future as this is an accident waiting to happen and the cyclists clearly see it differently.

Good to see you again at the BHM breakfast club Alan. Good showing with over 50 Morgans attending.

You too Keith. I hope you made the BBQ on time.

Feeling very lucky now John, where the heck do these people come from that think they can be so rude without recourse.
As you know our roads are not as severe as yours seem and of course cycle lanes are things for cities for us in Devon.

I actually think Richard that less signage make people more wary in some cases. We have similar lanes & today I also passed cyclists on these with no issues & care for one another. Go figure

Yes we had a nice trip today! But the new mascot doesn´t match the colour of the car grin2

Before we startet our trip a new mascot rested on the brake light.

Than we made a 100km trip to have a look at the blossom of the "Lüneburer Heide" (Heath) and the cranes that are now resting here again on their journey south.
