Hello Just bought a carb Plus 8 that I will pick mid November in Melvyn  After 6 months of selection, those last days make me crazy, I don't sleep, cannot concentrate at work, don't listen to children, and begin to pist Mme who continue to give an even longuer "to do list" of the saturday morning  So just floating, it is just the best and worth time.  Thanks for educating me on mogs along those hours of reading on the forum. I became less idiot, but more work still my garage looks like JZR Guzzi, R1200C, Bullet 500 Trial, and 10x50cc vintage various

This is normal, don't panic.  Once you drive the car all will be replaced by a big grin,  everyone will ask you "why are you so happy", but you will not be able to answer because the grin will not go away.  I have had mine for 7 years this month.

Welcome Pel........savour the next couple of weeks of excitement; nothing quite beats the lack of sleep, rising anticipation etc...until that final day when you pay Melvyn and jump into the car to fire her up for the trip home! Have fun!!!!

Cheers, Graham, ditto on the Enfield trials. I bought a bog standard 350 one when I was in Kenya in 94. It was great for those "roads". It was Indian spec though so 6 v electrics, no air filter & a weak silencer. This meant it was faster than the strangled ones sold in Europe. Though I am not sure how good the new leanburn ones are. But I don't like the styling of them. John
