I anyone was at Donington last night I have around 200 photos I took of Mogs at the event, taken static in the pit garages, on the main straight and at the Melbourne loop hairpin
Great to see you all enjoying the track, everything from M3W, 4/4's through to a full on Aero GTN track weapon !
Just PM your details, with reg, colour, etc, to help me sift you out & you are welcome to your photos

I too have turned up at a few local club level competition events and taken a few pics just as you describe Cooperman, NOT that I am other than an old man with a camera, but should there be any interest in them, I offer any of the pics to the club for their use and via the club make them available to any participants in the event... However I am aware that could well undermine the efforts of a professional photographer trying to make a living.. I guess the reality may be that in these days when everyone would seem to have a photographic/video device in their pocket, a professional has to be capturing top class images in order to earn a coin..? I guess it is all just part of the evolutionary processes in everything..?

Just to clarify, I paid and did the first event at Donington and was disappointed with the official MMC provided shots, they were clearly concentrating on the launch of the PlusFour race cars, so I thought I would go again and offer to take some additional photos of participants
I do enjoy a bit of motorsport photography and these shots were all offered at no charge, no copyright, just to help Mog owners, no official paid photographer was undermined as none were at the event

No clarification required by me CooperMan, your offer of pics caused me to type of my own desires and concerns when offering pics of club events... Photography is and always has been nothing but an interesting pastime for me. I earned my coin in other ways, many of which have been just like photography seem to have been somewhat undermined by technological advance...

Thanks for the pics you so kindly sent me, Jon - much appreciated. It was a good session for me, never having ventured onto a track circuit before (although I did a few sprints and hillclimbs in the way distant past, in a Ginetta G3). Being able to give my Plus 4 some real beans felt great and I benefited from the initial few laps of tuition that were included in the deal, serving to reassure me that I was already doing most of it right! I might even give it another go if it happens again next year, not least to properly try out the better manifold I am about to have fitted to free up some more horses/torque from the GDI lump. And I'll take my decent cameras to try and get some shots of you, if you are there - to repay the favour.
