I hope someone can help … I just finished putting the engine back in having fitted the brilliant “Bleazey” Centra upgrade.
After checking everything is connected I have spotted that the knock sensor (which is a circular disk bolted to the right hand cylinder head) ends in a small oval connector which places near the coil pack. I unbolted the knock sensor - I didn’t unplug it. However I can’t find any corresponding connector in the front wiring loom - everything is connected - except the knock sensor. Could anyone confirm if this is either left floating or where in the loom it plugs in. Occasionally we get a nut left over but I’ve never had a cable floating!
Any help greatly appreciated.

- looking from front of car- connects into main loom - right hand side above starter motor area - largish single black connector.
So - if you unbolted it from the engine and did not unplug it....why do you now need to find the plug?

Hi
Yes I unbolted it from the head and now Ive come to check all the routings for rubbing etc I have seen the plug on the end of the sensor but can't find where its come from!. I will take another look in the morning where you suggested
