Thanks for now I have gone down the badge bar route. Chromed copper heating tube over stainless threaded rod with stainless dome nuts.
I might commit to over riders latest but first I want to see how the cover works. If I don't like it I'll have a big bit of garage art.

Chromed copper heating tube over stainless threaded rod with stainless dome nuts. This will look impressive. Don’t forget some threadlock. And spring washers.
