Thanks Howard but I feel you have missed the point. If a small turned spacer had been fitted in such a way that it didn’t fall out when the rim was removed I wouldn’t have questioned it. Having owned Morgan’s since 1999 and never commented on build quality I believe the solution used was unacceptable. Thankfully Morgan Works Malvern have been brilliant in resolving, I hope, this issue. Having driven Mercedes-Benz for over 36 years I know the difference between a mass produced car and a hand built, bespoke Morgan. Nuf said!?
