Ah the warm smell of colitas.....
Anyone remember Jasper Carrot ? On one of his TV shows he had a "mis-heard" segment. So the lyrics are definitely NOT "warm smell of policemen". Similarly in Bohemian Rhapsody, the lyrics are NOT "Beelzebub has a devil in the sideboard". And in "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" the lyrics are NOT "The girl with colitis goes by". But every time I hear those tracks I think of good ol' Jasper.

Tipped over this rather interesting performance thinking some of you might like it as it seems out of the ordinary..? I seem attracted to beam it up rather regularly..

great! I'm a big fan of the Thompson dynasty and will be seeing his son Teddy in Feb at Richmond Theatre. Here he is covering a Leonard Cohen song

As you took the time to respond Kevin, here are another couple you might enjoy, though from the offspring.. (-:

They are both lifted from a old BBC Scotland TV show, Transatlantic Sessions, with Gerry Douglas the master of the slide guitar, and other artists from across the pond accompanying the Brits.

EDIT... OK, OK so pushing my luck, what about a father and son duo..?

All great, much appreciated. The duet with Mary C-C is, I think, the best version I've heard of that song.

A very nice rendition of a wonderful song by Nanci. Not too many nanci`s in the music business the one that sprung to mind was Nancy Whiskey singing Freight Train on the Six Five Special... a year or two back..(-:

Here is another Thompson tune... This being a rather haunting refrain again played live but with what seems like real feeling

A nice little program for the blues fans featuring English Cigar Box guitar making and playing.

I'm a Seasick Steve fan so a little biased..

I think I've seen it before but I watched it again. Brilliant ideas and excellent music and enthusiasm by the bucket load. Thanks for the link, Rich.
