I suspect it will be quite a complex and expensive job but.... is there an easy fit cruise control I can fit to the mog ?
On a long motorway trip I'm finding I cant rest my knee on the door, after a while of not being able to shift the leg its causing me some pain in my knee and bum !

Stupid morgans crazy2

Is this any use?

It does seem to live up to your two expectations though.

I’m surprised that the new Plus Four and six haven’t got the cruise control from BMW as the rest of the drivetrain comes from them. Anyone know if the BMW cruise can be retrofitted??

HI,

I've been looking into fitting an aftermarket cruise control for my GDI Plus 4 since driving back from Silverstone via the Motorway and getting cramp in my right leg.

I have found no Morgan specific "Kits". There are a few makers of aftermarket products and plenty of "Mobile Fitters" but it seams all they are interested in is fitting a specific Kit.

This manufacturer http://www.avsgemini.com/aftermarket-cruise-controls.html has 3 types of controllers, one for None fly-by-wire cars, one for Analogue fly-by-wire cars and one for Can-Bus fly-by-wire cars.

If there were a Kit I'd probably have a go at fitting it myself but as there isn't so I've opted to have the Analogue fly-by-wire solution fitted. I only found one fitter that has given a "positive" response to the modification and they are a 3hr motorway drive away, and they . The fitting depends on them checking the pedal signals 1st so I may have a wasted trip. I'm booked in on the 30th Nov.

WAECE MS50 cruise control is an after market solution that fits nearly any car.
Fitted it in an early eighties Merc Diesel (FSA - full speed assist;-) )
