I bought a buzzer off fleabay that also has an LED light. I might tap off from that and fit the dash indicator.

here is a post from 2014, the indicator relay with buzzer was just a straight swap with the standard relay, no electricary required, unfortunately cant seem to find one online at the moment.

have fitted one of these, as it is, it is not loud enough so i carefully prised the cover off and drilled 4 holes in the casing, tested it then masked back the amount of holes until i got the right volume. It can just be heard with a sports exhaust and aeroscreens. it also matters where its mounted behind the dash, higher up its is quieter than near the lower edge. Too loud and you sound like a refuse van.

jbk we have later cars where the relay is in the ECU or BCU so we have to fit separate buzzers. They need diodes to stop the power flowing the wrong way to damage the electronics.
On my 97 +4 I fitted a flasher relay with a buzzer which as you say is pretty easy to do.

It sometimes appears that many others whom we share the roads with nowadays have found the perfect solution...and just don’t bother to indicate in the first place! Problem solved. 🙀

Absolutely agree Graham

One of my big fears is barreling towards a junction and a motorbike pulling out because they think I'm turning.

Interesting, & a good price, I've used Audicator in the past - great unit with programmable delay but a bit pricy

I wonder if TBM's version would be compatible with the later BCU controlled cars ? RichardV6 any comments ?

Jon, I used this buzzer with light though I don't use the light.

This one stopped working for me but I later found out it was very sensitive to the earth quality, this is what Richard used.Buzzer

I fitted a stent into the rear loom by the indicators adding econseal connectors so I didn't cut the loom.

Thanks John, various options there for the winter to-do list, the old Mini suffers the same issue

I liked the Audicator version as you could set the buzzer to only trigger in after a certain number of flashes & if you dab the brake whilst waiting at traffic lights for example, it resets the cycle
