…and some special tools are required including grinding a semi circle out of the engine mounting so that the timing can be locked with a pin.
That's exactly what my son had to do.

That's exactly what my son had to do. I thought this was a bodge at first but I should have known Morgan would make things more difficult for us by forgetting to design the engine mount properly!

I will see if I can get the part numbers when I have the cambelt kit fitted but that isnt for three weeks. I think the garage had to get the part numbers by using a Ford Focus as a reference as Motor Factors dont seem to be able to cross reference Morgan registration plate or model details.

Here is the reasonable prized toolkit from China which did the job well in our case. Original Ford prices could be much higher but I don‘t know. For a ones in ten years job this kit was good enough. All you need from this tool kit are these three parts on the upper part of the box.
