Brands Hatch Morgan gets its demonstrator

The new M3W arrived at BHM this week. A few pics to whet the appetite.

What fun, went round the block in it this afternoon. Lovely noise at low speeds, a lot of rattles and groans from the rear though, but it is a work in progress with one or two snags to be ironed out.
Its on trade plates as nobody knows yet whether it will be classed as a car or bike or trike!!
I'm 6ft 3ins and had bags of legroom in the passenger seat, legs out straight, however on the other side the pedals are almost halfway back for the driver. I got in OK but without the steering wheel. They are looking at repositioning the pedals.
There was also a problem with the drive belt, on opening up the back you could see that the belt had been rubbing on the rear wheel and considering how few miles it had done a substantial amount of rubber had been removed from the sidewall.
Overall impression... a great fun machine.
Many thanks to Sarah and Co. for letting me have a ride.

Andrew

p.s. Keith, hope you are feeling better soon!

I saw & heard it at the Jolly Tanners on Sunday. I thought it sounded fantastic, the leather was a great colour but the detailed finish poor for so expensive a vehicle.

I am sure the production ones will improve

I thought that the dealer demo cars were the finished article...not pre production ones? Last time I was at the factory they were building the dealer cars and about to start customer ones.
