Picked up our Morgan ARP4!
Hi Everyone.
We picked up our amazing Morgan ARP4 at the weekend and took her for a blast. I am astounded at this car - it really does have a dual personality but this is exactly what I love about her. Any name suggestions would be greatfully appreciated as currently my wife is calling her Mog - which I have explained is a little too generic! We're looking forward to seeing you all at future events and I would love to meet other ARP4 owners to hear their stories. I hope you like the picture! BR, Christian

Very nice Mog, Christian Thanks Jon! We love her. That is a really striking car......we had an all black 70th anniversary 4/4 and it is a very striking combination not always easy to keep spotlessly clean but a real stunner congratulations and enjoy. We nicknamed one of our black cars Sirius after the Harry Potter character Sirius Black who was initially portrayed as an dangerous escapee from Azkaban, a villain but actually turned out to be a good guy.......almost a dual persona akin to an ARP4. The Black 4/4 was named LOKI after the god of mischief. Thanks for the suggestions John. I like Loki, alas she is still being called 'Mog' currently which i've explained to the family is far too generic!! Best Wishes Christian

Lovely looking car. I'm pretty sure it's the car the former owner of my plus 4 bought from Melvyn Rutter. I was aware he then traded it in for a roadster at Williams. Thanks for the post Gordon. She still doesn't have a name but we absolutely adore her and there is just something about the ARP4 - its such a magical combination of a Morgan with.....A racing brain! Best Wishes. Christian

Hope you really enjoy your new car .... looks wonderfully sinister .... a reclining black panther might have been ideal for the second pic .... but if you have a pug, then a pug it is!! 🙂 .... what a smashing motor!!

She looks amazing and a little wild. My first thought was also Black Panther before I read it. Or how about Black Beauty, a TV horse, that reminded me then of an older TV horse if it was to be a short (wild) one word name, Fury. Thanks Heinz. It's great to hear you are loving your new ARP4 Christian. If you still haven't got a name, I'm sure one will suggest itself one day, don't be in too much of a hurry and keep and open mind on it. My ARP4 is called Mac, simply because that is the index number.
If you'd care to PM me with your email address, I can send you some pictures of my car and some of the mods I've done so far.
I'm sure ARP4 are underrated for some reason, so so do keep us up to date with your aquaintanceship with her (him?)
