The forecast was horrible - the outcome perfect! A tourist free run in the end season. 340 mile round trip over the weekend. First to Thorne in South Yorkshire for handover of narrowboat I've just sold, then on to Hull in the dark which reminded me how good the LED headlights I have are. Overnight in city centre hotel then Sunday pub lunch with twelve family members before return via Humber bridge. Dull for the most part with occasional damp roads but no rain. The journey back was the best top down, including the surprisingly smooth south bound B1225 from Caister to Horncastle, with lovely bends as it passes Belmont TV transmitter on the Lincolnshire Wolds.
No complaints from the LED switchback front indicator/sidelights I've installed giving me extra re-assurance of being seen especially in such low light conditions. Amazed how many with older cars drive with no lights at all in such conditions, becoming virtually invisible at any distance!

yes an 80 mile round trip to Brands Hatch Morgan for Keiths service workshop. A brilliant day full of advice information and anecdotes about Morgan ownership. The day was spiced up by watching Morgans being worked on and modified and the gracious and patient handling of all our questions by the BHM team which included a walk around the full SSL kit including 5 link suspension being fitted to a customer car - a really great day out
