Have been lurking awhile so thought it time to say hello. Not a Morgan owner as yet but plan to get something sorted in time for summer next year. Budget is tight but as luck would have it i've taken i shine to the 4/4.
My first car (with four wheels) was a Triumph Spitfire and i'm looking forward to getting back to open top motoring.
It is good to see an active forum and lots of social events. Reminds me of the camaraderie to be found in the motorcycle world.
Cheers
Mark

welcome aboard. Have you driven one yet, any fine day will do. I joined the MSCC and spent nearly 9 enjoyable months choosing the right car.

Hi British Steel, I am fairly new to Morgan as well. Got a plus 4 in September and have not stopped smiling. It is my first soft top since my spitfire in 73. Still hankering after a motalita steering wheel since then. You will find lots of motor cyclist in your midst. Enjoy choosing your car. Get it early to enjoy the good weather.

Hello and welcome!
It was a bit chilly commuting in mine this morning, topless!

Welcome to the forum BT!
It surprising how many of us started out with Spitfires! I parted company with my '65 mk1 back in 1972 when we decided to get hitched and eventually got my dream Morgan +4 three years ago. Any more ex-Spitfire owners out there?
Also pleased to see we weren't the only ones going topless today. We blew some cobwebs away with a run down to Whitstable this morning (I gave SWMBO the option of roof-up - but surprisingly she opted for roof-down!). Not too chilly down here in Kent - just a little murky.

And another one. 1500 1979. Wife drove it for 18 years and it has seen Sicily and the British Isles from LE to JOG. My Morgan Threewheeler buddy still has two - restored to absolute concours condition.
Murky but still 14C here in Switzerland

Welcome British Steel. I bought my 4/4 secondhand (on a limited budget) 6 years ago. I have steadily fettled it as funds allowed and absolutely love it. It has taken me and the lovely Lady Budster on all sorts of adventures, both here and in Europe. The world of Morgans is a wonderful place, enjoy choosing your car.

Welcome,
Must admit the Spitfire was my dream car some years back and remember getting all excited when downhill I managed to get it above 100. On your future with a Morgan I would say take your time choosing I didn't and wanted to change soon after. Lately there is so much on offer and more to come, my latest desire is the 44 75th Anniversary, this ticks lots of boxes.
