Tonight’s Panorama was entitled ‘The electric car revolution: winners and losers'. Admittedly the sub-text was ‘….reports on Tesla, the dominant company in the EV revolution’, but it was a thinly-veiled character assassination of Tesla. The scenes of “artisanal miners” resembled the mines in Lord of the Rings. I visited the Democratic Republic of Congo when it was Zaire (and got somewhat mugged), it evidently hasn’t improved. And while I have absolutely no intention of buying a Tesla (or any other EV), I would have liked to see the BBC present at least something in mitigation for Tesla, and for EV’s in general.

I saw it too and thought it was very dumbed down. The bbc have lost Ny credibility lately of non biased reporting

Yep, the Beeb have certainly fallen a long way from the Reithian ideal of 'Educate, Inform, Entertain'. But what are the alternatives? Apart from C4, every other documentary produced seems to be about either Sharks or Hitler.

Is this not a malady of all so called news reporting these days. The BBC has become a shadow of its former self. If you watch a news program most of the time it is a BBC reporter interviewing a BBC "correspondent" stating the bleeping obvious. Standards have fallen and Panorama has completely lost its reputation for quality investigations.
