How are yours wired in BTW?
Used the existing wires in the loom (Blue/yellow) there was an open connector in the 'knotted spaghetti' near each of the front wing stays. These are designated for 'Spots' and activate with Main Beam - "Simples!" (I am assuming that I do not need a relay - but may include one if I go with some 'naughty' 100W bulbs of course! )

I was advised to use a reply, even without 100w bulbs. BTW Modern top of the range Philips and Osram bulbs are just as good, whiter and do not draw the same current as 100W.

My old 4/4 didn't have a relay Keith. When I rewired (with more suitable gauge wire) I also fitted a relay (and fuse!). I'd recommend you do so - but there may be one already fitted...?

Hi Keith,
I'm a bit late to this party but I'd like to talk to you about fitting spotlights to a 4/4. Is there anyway I can have a telephone conversation with you...?

Hi, saw your thread on the spot light fitting and brackets. As a newbie to Morgan ownership (2011 Plus 4) am keen to know what was involved in wiring them up? Also did you make the brackets up with some sort of template and what clearance did you need to allow for the depth of the cibie lamp bowl? Any other info appreciated. John

I used the Cibie LED mini Oscars, as per the plus 4 SS, not cheap but tremendous beam, the pull 2.2 Amp per pair
