Not all +4 have the recess for a spare - if you can find a car like mine you gain a decent amount of hidden away storage, there's a wide, long but thin slot that runs under the back panel, accessed from inside the car at the rear of the parcel shelf. It's big enough to fit a pair of side screens, tool roll, electric tyre pump etc. I sometimes have to leave a laptop in there, a casual thief wouldn't find it, especially if the roof is down.

Looks the same colour as mine what do you know the colour as?

I really like the clean style of my 4/4, I'm going to try to reproduce the same thing for my next +4...

Might be a silly question, but is the size of the recess for the spare & therefore the diameter of the cover, different on different models?

Is the overall diameter of the 15" & 16" wheels different or does a different tyre profile mean they end up the same.

I have 15" alloys on mine & the gap is quite large so I assume the formed hole in the rear panel in the same for 16's too

As far I know the hole on the later trads is the same size. There is a wider gap on my Roadster with low profile tyres than on my Plus 4 with 70 series, which has a much smaller gap.
