I have looked at various sites and can't find anything suitable, anyone got ideas. I've tried halfords with a view to modifying one but no good.

I just bought a pair of oversize plainish Rubber Car Mats and cut them to shape using the existing carpets as templates. coffee
They work well until something better comes along. Only SWMBO manages to 'Heel' her side forwards.
I have thought about rivetting on a couple of small fabricated 'hooks but it not really necessary. idea

I have two rear mats in the Mog but they are a bit non-trad.

However.............. thinking
My daughter has a black silicon oven mat from John Lewis. I had a look last week, but unfortunately at the moment they are grey, and a tenner each. I'm tempted to try them out, but obviously there's an issue about how long they will last..........
But they are thin and fairly plain and would do the job.
I also have some HD neoprene, but the problem with that is it's 'heavy' and smooth - but I could try that out for nothing as it's in stock.

If you get to John Lewis's kitchen department, have a look - the oven mats are displayed rolled up.

Have a look at woolies-trim.co.uk. They seem to have a wide selection of rubber matting which should be suitable.

If anyone is planning a trip to the NEC this weekend, I'm sure there will be plenty there.

I'm fairly heavy on floor mats and I have ordered an extra pair with the car. Morgan's price for 2nd set of floor mats £ 92 (plus VAT, I assume) It seems a bit pricey but I have just had a quote for a set of 4 original over-mats (they only come as a set) to replace the drivers side floor mat: The nice figure of €350. Naturally I said to forget it and I will look for some aftermarket mats that cost less than €50.

You can extend the life of the the mats by fitting some underlay(carpets always wear better with underlay) I have cut some quarter inch thick felt to go under the mats and transferred it from Mog to Mog, more comfortable on your feet also cozychair
