I have a John Taylor one already that I bought for the 4/4 we had but fits the Roadster just as well . I just added a window pocket for parking tickets which I have only used once.

I am interested to know what you will use in the future?

In its bag ours stows nicely in the passenger footwell to make a suitable footrest for swmbo. It gets well used a lot as it seems to rain Very HARD at every event and trip away sometime during the day .

As you say, this fits in a pouch, which will easily fit behind the seat or in the footwell.
