Hi folks
The TM Image Library is currently in "Maintenance mode".
This does not affect any links to existing images that have been used in posts on Talk Morgan.
There is a problem with updating the database that needs to be resolved. I am reluctant to open the site for uploading in case it causes problems with the database. If the problem can not be resolved in the short term I will roll back to an earlier version.
I will post on this thread when the issue has been resolved one way or the other.
My apologies for any inconvenience.

Imgur continues to work fine for me and has done since Photobucket shot themselves in the foot. I have their Android app on both phone and tablet. All that is required is to take a photo or use an existing one. Whilst viewing it I tap on share, tap on Imgur option then tap to upload. Takes about 3 seconds. Tapping on uploaded image within app gives a direct image URL copy option, ready to paste on forum between image tags. I stay logged in to app so it's always instantly available. There are versions for Apple and Windows devices, and it's free with no intrusive advertising

It turns out that the latest version of the software requires us to migrate to a more up to date server. This is being organised but because it may take some time I am organising a roll back to the previous version.
Regarding the kind questions as to funding I can say that thanks to the generosity of members we are in a good financial state and there is no immediate need for funds.
Fortunately the host support team is in the American time zone so hopefully we can get it resolved in the next few hours.
More news as soon as it is available.

Hi folks
The roll back has now been completed and I put the Image Library back on line about 2 hours ago, at about 5:45 GMT. I don't think anything has been lost but if anyone put anything up within the last 24 hours they should check to see if it is still there. Let me know if there is a problem.
The next phase will be to migrate to the new server. That may require that we go offline for a short period. If possible I will try to get that programmed so that it happens in the middle of the night UK time as the majority of our users are in UK or EU time zones. In any case I will advise when it happens.
