Hello, new +8 owner 1994 with only 2960 miles, what are the most frequent problems with such an unused car, any suggestions regarding wire wheels.

Welcome Menm, I bought a 1996 +8 which had averaged 800 miles a year. I had no problems but I guess it'll depend how often it's been used recently, my recommendation is simply to use it as much as you can, give it a good blast and enjoy it as often as possible.  I don't have wire wheels but the guys who do have say that they're a b*gger to clean  ...but they do look great! Steve L.

Check the age of the tyres if over 10 yrs old replace them.

Use it with a little bit of tenderness for a while to allow it to wake itself up and for any problems to become apparent and with new oils in it and new tyres if as John said, they are old...give it the blast it deserves on those tempting passes of yours!
Oh...and the most important thing, I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, photos please!

And keep an eye on the water pump once you dos tart using it - seems to be a common failing on engines that go from little use to being driven properly... Oh, and WELCOME!  Look forward to the  Cheers,
