There does seem to be some contention over the mileage but you're right, great looking car.....

The photographic presentation of this car is brilliant....

Just a beautiful meaningful stance this model has thumbs

For me, this is the ultimate "Sunday Car". Take the other half out for a light lunch on the harbour or a quick weekend away cruising the restaurants, galleries, and antique shops of the NSW southern highlands

It needs work and there is some suspect providence but at that price for this model, worth a look.

Another itch I never scratched, there is something about them that appeals.

I had one of these in the late 1970's, Great car to own and drive and was surprisingly well made for a Triumph of this era. The mechanical fuel injection could be a bit sensitive but gave the car some oomph. The engine was rock solid and took a lot of abuse but was easy to service.

Handling was quite good but you could easily lose the rear end on damp roads if you were a bit heavy footed.

Could be tempted to buy one again if the rust worm has not done too much damage.

Nice summary Kevin. Always liked the look of these myself but never owned one....

I agree the TR 5/6 was my favourite at that time when compared to the GT6/Spitfire/MGB. The only other one I drove that got my attention was the late Jensen Healy but they were so rare and expensive.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
