MOG414 gear knob
Just a small detail project for Ms Marple_Mog414 done in 2021.
Wood used is IROKO.
Brass and aluminium tube, press fitted and polished.

Lovely job that! .... I do like a nice wooden gear knob ..... always seems 'right' to me ... I love the idea of a turned aluminium one but I always found the one in Mrs Image's Audi TT unpleasantly cold (my racer has an ali one but I'm always wearing nomex gloves in that) .... good to see your working stages.

Lovely bit of work. I originally used a stainless ball with an M10 thread (bought from eBay) but now have the ubiquitous 8 Ball gear knob. It goes with the mildly modded '70s vibe
