Quick blast down to Nene Valley Railway and back - about 40 miles. Trouble is, after less than a mile couldn’t see out the front due to the accumulated gunge off the road spread across the inside of the windscreen plus sun glare. Had to stop two or three times just to clean it to make things safer ….still, as per usual loved every second of it… HB ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/01/17/C8E5B533-2B2A-4E12-A704-CBB8A23A6C93.jpg)

150 miles over couple days via nowt but back roads to dealers and return for first annual service. Rad repair was done as well. They have also done summat with the filler for the radiator to help prevent over filling which apparently is one of the issues causing the rad leaks with these newer cars… Couldn’t do anything about the silent front speakers. 😩 wonder if I should ask MMC for a refund of half the cost of the speaker connection since only the back two produce any sound even though I paid for four altogether … 😇 HB

Just a 40 mile round trip to Nene Valley Railway and back to sort out some volunteering stuff. V windy but still a hoot! We have just had some new Hormann electric garage doors fitted. Ruddy marvellous being able to get the garage open as I’m approaching our drive-wottagreatresult!!!! Happy days as it meant I didn’t even need to get wet as it was chucking it down -woop woop HB

Remote-control doors are great - especially in this stormy weather!

Be careful not to leave large garage doors open in very windy weather, I've seen roofs blown off from the pressure build up inside, those galv straps on the inner walls are to try & tie in some blockwork to add weight to the overall roof structure & prevent uplift, but it's very basic prevention
