According to WIKI. Yes only two in the class (although I had always thought there were Porsches competing in the same class 2-litre class). The other car being an AC Ace that dropped out after 5 hours. But as they always say "You have to be in it to win it".

For me, the respect I have for the drivers at Le Mans is simply that driving long stints over 24 hours, and punishing the mechanical components, AND driving racing speeds in the dark with Lucas 7" headlamps, and maybe a couple of Cibies, is not something I would want to do.
These guys are heroes. In a Morgan, (and cars like the MGA, and B, it would have been torture.
Finishing that race is a credit to race prep, and the drivers.
And doing it in a 200mph Porsche 917? Well....

Actually talking to Richard they didnt exactly, however I am intrigued that an Alfa Giulietta 1300 finished 9 laps ahead of them, no wonder Richard went on to race them and sell them in the UK for many years. Also 120 mph ? with the final drive fitted for LeMans she ran quite a bit above that and certainly does now.
