All earth connections are solid so I'm hoping its the "Turn it off, count to 10 and turn it back on again" philosophy of rebooting the systems - fingers crossed!

I'm going to Williams Morgan tomorrow to collect Tarka... The weather forecast looks benign and I've got my new Morgan Plus 8 Driving Smock.... ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/02/01/Drivind-Smock.jpg) Colour coordinated to the car, windproof, waterproof and with a hood that well help keep my neck warm! Not so sure about the 2 hour train journey...but only £16.00 so probably less than the petrol!!

Well...
Blue sky, not cold, open roads, little traffic and I'm back in love with the Plus 8.
The A46/A36 together provided all I needed and the Warminster Bypass.... I made very good progress with a big grin on my face.
Yes, there is enough equity in it to make a new Plus 4 posible, but why?
What would I gain?
Tarka and I have run over 30,000 miles together, I think there is more to come. OK, she has a drink problem and servicing and tax are expensive, but so what....?

Why indeed! A sanitised Euro compliant 4cyl turbo or a NA massive V8 - no contest......There's no replacement for displacement!

Just needs those silly side pipes for the total silly b____r effect and grin. Ah I forget you have culture and sensibility. I still think there is just a little bit of loony begging to get the anti-social things fitted?

You definitely have to be a little careful with the side pipes though.....talking from experience when the long-haired colonel had some friends over and she asked me to to demonstrate the lovely sound of the V8 through side pipes to them. She was stood a little too close wearing white trousers when I blipped the throttle a little excitedly and hey presto the the white trousers have been adapted to white shorts!
