Thanks everyone. At least it's now roadworthy. I've just sewn the Morgan badge to the wheel cover so that's to go on next. A friend with an embroidery machine did the badge in red to match the car. Oh and not forgetting the hub caps.

Replaced the MMC T piece on the water system with a proper ali one from SiFab. So a short twenty mile test drive. No leaks and the sunshine was lovely.

98 mile round trip for me, top down with occasional spits of rain, to Williams for a Mendip/Spotmog breakfast meet. Great morning with cold air that seems to give the motor that extra nudge. Lots to drool over but especially my first view of the new LM in their showroom...it looks a stunning finish, right down to finer details like its brass eared spinners.

Yep, I can think of several junctions around us where abeyance to the new highway code & stopping just because a pedestrian looks like they are waiting to cross will end up with the car waiting in a main road to turn left being rear-ended
There are a great number of pedestrian crossings here that are placed right on the turn and one has to be very careful not to find a stranger in one's boot.

I'm very pleased to see that you are now all set to enjoy it on your favorite (unsalted) roadways. The new paint shows well, excellent color match. You have every reason to smile!....

The only beautiful day this and next week so no time to lose. An early start under a nice but cold sun. Visited one of the old forts of the defensive belt around Antwerp. (Fort II 1860-1864) Seven to go.
